Winter is coming. This is not a romantic quote from a show you watch with friends over a cup of hot chocolate. It’s a daunting inevitability looming before the people of Ukraine. Winter can kill. For many reasons, people continue to live in their own homes, despite the destruction, shelling, and lack of electricity and gas. Many live in regions completely cut off from gas and electricity. Many will not make it through the winter without a stove for cooking and heating. According to local administrations and regional volunteers, the number of people in need of such stoves is in the hundreds of thousands.

 

Our organization has been working with a local factory and has developed an affordable, efficient, convenient, and light stove. Our goal is to produce and distribute these stoves with the help of our volunteers in Mykolaiv and other regions. The cost of producing and installing one stove for one household is $100. Our goal is to make as many stoves as possible. Imagine, for just $100 you can give a family the chance to survive the winter in their own home!
